October Favorite Finds

October is probably my favorite month for nesting. The leaves are changing, the light gets softer, and suddenly I want everything to feel a little warmer, cozier, and more layered. I love bringing in autumn through texture, pattern, and a few special pieces rather than going too literal with seasonal decor.

Here’s what I’m loving this month as we settle into fall.

Theodora 36" Single Vanity from Rejuvenation

There’s something about a beautiful vanity that can make even an everyday space feel special. The Theodora has a classic feel with a slightly softer, more contemporary shape thanks to its rounded edges and compact profile. I love the combination of natural materials and traditional details — especially the solid wood paired with a beautiful stone top. It would be such a lovely addition to a powder room or bathroom where you want something that feels timeless but not expected.

Coogam Halloween Decoration

I love a little bit of seasonal whimsy, and these Halloween decorations are a fun way to bring October into the house without completely transforming your decor. They add just enough personality to a mantel, entryway, tabletop, or even a children's space. For me, the key with seasonal decorating is always moderation — a few playful pieces can make a room feel festive while still allowing the rest of the space to shine.

Brienne Rattan Wall Mirror from Quince

Rattan always feels right in a fall palette, and I love the texture and shape of this arched mirror. The hand-finished rattan frame gives it a natural, collected quality, while the arched silhouette adds a little architectural interest. It would be beautiful above a console, in an entryway, or layered into a bedroom or bathroom. It’s one of those pieces that adds warmth without needing much else around it.

Hampton Wall Light from Visual Comfort

Lighting can completely change the feeling of a room as the days get shorter, which makes October the perfect time to think about beautiful, warm illumination. The Hampton wall light by AERIN has sculpted metal leaves that create a beautiful, almost lit-from-within effect. I love the organic shape and the way it brings a little bit of nature into a room while still feeling polished and elegant. It would be equally beautiful in a hallway, bedroom, bathroom, or living space.

Aldrich Accent Table from Made Goods

I love a piece that feels a little unexpected, and the Aldrich table definitely fits the bill. The asymmetrical, branch-like base gives it a sculptural quality while the simple round top keeps it feeling airy and easy. I could see this tucked next to a cozy chair with a stack of books and a little lamp — or used on its own as one of those small details that makes a room feel collected.

Nelson Picture Frame Collection from Pigeon & Poodle

There’s something about fall that makes me want to surround myself with photographs and little reminders of the people and places I love. The Nelson frames have a warm, natural quality that feels especially beautiful layered into a room this time of year. I love the idea of grouping a few together on a console or bookshelf — the perfect way to make everyday family photos feel a little more special.

Delphine Edie Slipper Chair from Rifle Paper Co.

I am always a sucker for a pretty chair, and the Delphine Edie is such a fun one. The floral pattern brings in just the right amount of color and personality, while the slipper-chair silhouette makes it easy to tuck into a bedroom, reading corner, or vanity area. It feels feminine without being too precious — exactly the kind of piece that can make a room feel more charming and collected.

That’s a wrap on this month’s favorites. Here’s to changing leaves, cozy corners, beautiful layers, and making home feel a little more inviting as we settle into fall!
