June Favorites: What I Am Loving Right Now
June is here and with it comes longer days, weekend plans, and that particular energy that makes you want to refresh everything — your home, your bag, your bathroom shelf.
Here is what I am reaching for and recommending this month.
For the Home
Florisso Champagne Faux Floral Arrangement (Amazon)
I have always believed that a great faux arrangement, done right, is one of the smartest investments you can make in a room. This large scale champagne arrangement from Florisso is the one I have been recommending lately. The scale is generous enough to make a statement and the neutral champagne tones work in almost any space.
I use arrangements like this on dining tables, entry consoles, and kitchen islands — anywhere that could use height, softness, and a little life without the commitment of fresh flowers. Worth every penny.
Sister Parish Dolly Fabric in Lettuce Green (Sister Parish Design)
If you follow my work you know I have a deep love for Sister Parish. The Dolly print is one of their most quintessentially charming — a hand-printed flowers and stripes design that feels old world and fresh at the same time.
This lettuce green colorway is making me so happy right now. I am seeing it on pillows, on the backs of chairs, on a single club chair in a bedroom corner. It is the kind of fabric that makes a room feel collected and loved. Also available as a wallpaper if you really want to commit.
oomph Wave Side Table (oomph)
oomph never misses and the Wave Side Table is a perfect example of why. Two soft-close drawers, an exquisite lacquer finish inside and out, and that signature whimsy that makes every oomph piece feel like a treat. Made in America.
The color options are endless and honestly, choosing is half the fun. I have been putting these next to daybeds, in bedroom corners, and adding them as a landing spot in entries. Cheerful, practical, and beautifully made.
Visual Comfort Allister 30" Galleried Hanging Shade (Visual Comfort x Schumacher)
This is a fixture I keep coming back to. The Allister Galleried Hanging Shade is a collaboration between Visual Comfort and Schumacher and it shows — the pleated shade is available in some of the most beautiful Schumacher prints and the antique brass hardware is exactly right.
At 30 inches, it has real presence in a room without being overwhelming. I love this over a kitchen island, in a breakfast nook, or as a statement in an entry foyer. Lighting is jewelry for a room and this one is a real piece.
Vintage Iron and Rattan Chairs (The Antique and Artisan Gallery)
A beautiful pair of vintage iron and rattan chairs, currently available at The Antique and Artisan Gallery. This is exactly the kind of find that makes antique shopping so rewarding — pieces with age, character, and a quality you simply cannot replicate new.
Rattan and iron together is a combination that works in almost any aesthetic, from coastal to traditional to maximalist. I always tell clients: every room needs at least one thing that cannot be bought new. This is that thing.
For the Weekend
Mark and Graham Mini Traditional Travel Mahjong Set (Mark and Graham)
I am obsessed with this. A compact, beautifully made travel mahjong set with 166 tiles, mini wooden racks, and a monogrammable travel pouch. It is the perfect gift and the perfect thing to throw in a weekend bag.
I have been playing more mahjong this summer, and there is something about having a set that is this portable and this cute that makes it feel like an occasion every time. Whether it’s a beach house weekend or a dinner party, this goes everywhere.
